Bob is a dedicated local resident who understands our area, has been deeply involved in local government and volunteer activities and who knows how to utilize people and organizations to get things done. Protecting the quality of life, environment and natural beauty of the lake and creating a business-friendly environment are some issues Camicia has been focused on while serving as a member of the Board of Supervisors of Franklin County.
Originally from Kentucky, Camicia worked in engineering, factory management, customer service and corporate strategy and marketing before he retired and moved his family to Smith Mountain Lake in 2001. Since retiring, he has served in the Smith Mountain Lake Association, the Franklin County Planning Commission and the Tri-County Lake Administrative Commission
