Kathlynn Stone joined the WFXR News team in July 2016. She moved to Roanoke after serving as Morning and Noon Anchor at WVVA in Bluefield, West Virginia. After starting her career fresh out of college, Kathlynn quickly moved from her position as the Greenbrier County Bureau Reporter to Weekend Anchor and ultimately became the anchor of WVVA Today and WVVA News at Noon. Kathlynn's love of journalism truly sparked during her college days at VCU in Richmond, Virginia where she studied broadcast journalism and interned at WTVR and WRIC.
Being from Southwest Virginia, Kathlynn is excited to be staying close to home and learning more about the community.
In her free time you can find her hiking a trail or exploring new places. Please feel free to drop in a kind word or say hello if you see her out and about.
